I LOVE to Dance

It’s not secret…I love to dance!  On most days…you can find me dancing around my studio while creating, dreaming, and visioning.  Dancing opens my heart.  It allows me a method of expressing and honoring emotions, fears, and celebrations.  It creates a flow of energy that melds into creative expression….that melds into art…I love it!

Nearly two years ago I had an opportunity to meet Toni Bergins founder of JourneyDance™…I instantly fell in love with the JourneyDance™ process…I could feel my heart open, expand, and simply release all of the emotion bound in my body.  I found myself diving deep into my subconscious and allowing all that lives there to flow and be expressed.

A Little Music makes me Shine….

It has been an incredibly busy time…both in my life and in the Journey Jewels studio.

Last weekend I had an opportunity to meet and enjoy the live music of Wade Morissette.  He was in the Milwaukee area at YogAsylum for the weekend offering an evening of live music and a great yoga class.  His music has been a long time favorite of mine…and one of his songs (So Alive) is actually the background music in a video I collaborated with Cleveland Groove to create about my love for stones, creating jewelry and Journey Jewels… watch the video

I love listening to music while creating…I sing along, dance and get silly in my studio…Wade’s music is often at the top of the list…in particular the song ‘So Alive.’  It reminds me to enjoy every moment and every breath and to allow myself to express the beauty and fullness of being ‘So Alive’ in everything I do.
