Passion, Power, Purpose

I believe that at some level each of us desires to live our lives with passion, power and purpose.  Those 3 little words really hold a charge and with them a desire to step up and bring every facet of our lives into alignment with our own passion and purpose.

One of my many passions is stones.

It’s one that I have been exploring and embracing for as long as I can remember.  But it wasn’t until I committed to creating gemstone jewelry that I began to feel the power of their transformation.

For the past several months I have been taking time to connect with each of the unique stone types in my collection…to photograph it, listen to its message, and then share that message.  It’s been powerful.  I have learned so much and this little journey has transformed how I work with stones.

My most recent study has been pyrite.  This heavy little stone packs quite the punch.  When I wear it I feel like my internal battery is charged.  I’m focused, on task and I flow from one activity to the next with minimal distraction…it’s like a cure for my creative spirit that often feels a bit add.

Not only does it keep me focused, but it seems to be a master manifestor.  Yes, I did actually say that.  Pyrite is a master manifestor.  Every time I place this stone on my wrist I become clear about my wants, desires and dreams…and not only that…my experience of life is coming into alignment with those desires.  It is incredibly refreshing.

I’m loving this stone and I am so excited to share the latest addition to the Journey Jewels collections:  Passion, Power, & Purpose bracelets….Shop Now

The Secret Garden

Have you ever seen the movie “The Secret Garden?”  Growing up, it was one of my favorites.  It enchanted me.

I loved the idea of having a secret garden…my own sacred space…where I could sit, and imagine, and dream…a place that always felt magical.

full moon I imagined having a magical connection to such a place, one that I could visit and, in stillness, watch the moon rise…tonight I did just that.  I sat in my “secret garden”… my “sacred garden” as Grandmother Moon rose in the northeast sky.  Just one night after being full, she arose radiant, and her glow inspiring.  With each inhale I breathed in her light, and with each exhale I expanded to meet her fullness.

Having such a sacred place is truly a treasure for me…one I believe each of us can create and experience.   Having such as space, whether indoors or out, offers us the opportunity to reconnect with our authentic self.  To let go of the daily struggles and challenges.  To reconnect with our vision and dreams.  And to reconnect with natures rhythms and cycles.

So tonight I invite you to step outside and witness the beautiful full moon…and I leave you with this question…Where is your Secret Garden?

Secret Garden Quotes

“The spell was broken.  My uncle learned to laugh, and I learned to cry. The secret garden is always open now.  Open, and awake, and alive. If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.” – Frances Hodgson Burnett

“As long as you have a garden you have a future and as long as you have a future you are alive.” -Frances Hodgson Burnett

“If I had a flower for every time I thought of you I could walk in my garden forever.” -Alfred Lord Tennyson

“I used to envy the father of our race, dwelling as he did among the new-made fields and plants of Eden; but I do so no more, for I have discovered that I also live in “creation’s dawn.”  The morning starts still sing together, and the world, not yet half made becomes more beautiful every day.”  -John Muir

Fall Equinox – Journey with Intention

“And when the seasons change again, then I will too. -Brandi Carlile

This week marks a change of seasons…one that invites us to change too!  The Fall Equinox is on Friday, September 23rd fall tree at 6:05am CST.

During the Fall Season, Mother Earth prepares for her winter slumber.  We harvest what was seeded in the spring and nurtured through summer.  We take time to offer gratitude for the fullness of our harvest, and we begin our own journey within.

Fall is a time to pause and be fully present with our inner wisdom and knowing.  Reflecting upon our dreams and the questions of our souls…we begin to recognize that the answers we seek are already alive within.  It is a time of being closer to ourselves and the magnificent truths we hold.  As we begin our journey within we are met with opportunities to seed new intentions.

Many of us are familiar with planting seeds in the spring.  But not all seeds are planted then.  Nature plants its seeds in the fall, and through the winter they slumber nurtured by Mother Earth.

We too can plant the seeds of our intentions in the fall.  Setting clear intentions is an essential part of manifesting and living your dreams…you can’t harvest corn if you didn’t plant the seed 🙂

When I set my own intentions, I do this by also empowering the crystals and stones I wear with my intentions.  I invite you to join me in doing so.  This video will share with you the process I use:

You will need a pen, paper, your favorite jewels, and your dreams!

Have fun, Enjoy this season of Change…& I would love to hear about your experience!
